Notes: I made this jacket to replace a much-loved, similar trench-style jacket that I wore to death over the last few years. And I predict this new jacket will also get worn to death because I LOVE IT! I made a straight size 8, even though my body measurements (36/29/39) put me at a size 10. The finished garment measurements indicated I would fit into a size 8 just fine, and the result was perfect with, still with plenty of wearing ease. The only alteration I made was an addition of 3" to the bottom of the jacket because I wanted it to hit closer to my knee.
